It is with great excitement and honor that I welcome you to The Tenacious Theta Sigma Omega Chapter of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Inc.’s website! As we embark on a new chapter, we are guided by the theme, Soaring Forward with New Vision and Powerful Purpose. This marks a time of growth, reinvention, and unwavering commitment to the values that have shaped our sisterhood.

The spirit of sisterhood and community is the heartbeat of our sorority and chapter. Together, we are more than just a group—we are a family that supports, empowers, and uplifts each other at every turn. As we soar into this new era, our vision is clear: to continue to lead with integrity, inspire with passion, and make an impact that resonates beyond our walls.

We are embracing our ever-changing world with open hearts and minds, determined to create meaningful experiences for our members while staying true to the core principles that unite us, and are driven to enhance our already significant impact on the Hattiesburg community which we so lovingly serve!  

As president of my beloved chapter, and member for 27 years, I am committed to leading with transparency, purpose, and vision. Through our international and local programs and services, our sisterhood is positioned to empower families, build economic wealth, enhance our environment, advocate for social justice, and uplift our community. We are excited to grow our partnerships with like-minded organizations and look forward to serving Hattiesburg with the zeal, compassion, and audacity that defines us as women of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Inc.
